In this issue I will cover a few products that will make your life easier and are kind on the environment.
I have the easiest way to remove the sticky, messy residue left when removing old poster’s or pictures that you may have covering surfaces in your home or office. Tthe solution is to simply use Eucalyptus oil. This can be bought from any supermarket at a cost around $8.00. Just apply with a cloth and it will remove all glue and most substances with ease. It is not necessary to use any type of scourers when using this product.
The best thing for cleaning mirrors and windows are Micro-Fibre cloths. These are in a variety of colours and cost between $5.00 to $ 100.00. The cloths require no chemical and will get all your mirrors and windows clean and streak free. You need two cloths, one is made wet with warm water, and the other is used to dry. Simply wipe away over the surface that needs cleaning, then wait a minute and dry with the second cloth. Both cloths can be washed as often as you require, and you can colour code them so you know which cloth does which job.
Now there is one job we all hate, cleaning the Oven!!!
The method for cleaning ovens has been the same for hundreds of years, lots of elbow grease and nasty caustic chemicals. Over the past few years there have been some great introductions with regard to cleaning without using harmful chemicals. You can now buy environmentally friendly cleaners from your local supermarket; they are cheap and easy to use. However, it is still a long and hard job down on your hands and knees with your head stuck inside an oven, I would recommend and use myself a company called This guy will come out to your home and pretty much dismantle your oven and then clean with no smell or mess. It takes him around 3 hours, but the end result is an oven that looks as good as new, both inside and outside, plus it is ready to use straight away and leaves no after smell.
I hope theses points help you save just a little bit of time, money and resources.
